Macho Time – 07/22/2010

CISCOLUTION SHOW

Here’s what you missed from my first and only “CISCOLUTION SHOW!” Why is it my “first” and “only?” That’s because I’ve decided to make my guest, Manny Maldonado, a permanent member of the show and call it “MACHO TIME” with CISCO & MANNY every THURSDAY @ 5PM! Check it out!

King James? I don’t think so!

LeBron James
Everyone has their opinion when it comes to LeBron James‘ decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers… so here’s mine:

I really think that, your (LeBron James) status as an elite player, or “KING” as you call yourself, has been tarnished and reduced to a mere serf. You have become a serf of the business and of yourself by becoming self-absorbed. The city of Cleveland did not deserve this at all. I know a lot of this is redundant, but these are the facts. GREAT PLAYERS don’t leave to join other PLAYERS to win championships. Players, come to play with great players to win! You my friend, have reduced yourself to just a PLAYER. You demonstrated NO GUTS in choosing to make your decision in Connecticut, rather than in Cleveland. Do you have the right to change teams? OF COURSE! But the way you did it, you embarrassed the city which loved you and nurtured you, though you couldn’t deliver when it counted… They STILL had your back! Now the pressure’s on, LeBron! You better win a championship! You better be MVP! You better hope that all the pieces fall into place because if they don’t it’s gonna get even worse! You have no idea what pressure is, but now you’re gonna find out! =)

LeBron, you made your wish and it was granted. But as the old saying goes, “The grass isn’t always greener on the other side!” There is always a ton of BAD KARMA which goes along with decisions involving deserting the people who love you. Cleveland accepted you no matter what and you threw it in their face with what you did. Look at what’s happened to Carlos Boozer? Be afraid, be VERY AFRAID!

As for Cleveland? I truly believe the team is better off without a person such as LeBron. You now don’t have someone who quits on you in the playoffs, but rather a group of blue collar hardworking players who will give it their all for your team. It’s a new day for the Cavs, where the “team” is one, rather than the team relying on one.
