I hate to sound like a corny little b*tch, but my 6 year anniversary in comedy was tonight and I had a lot of fun at the La Jolla Comedy Store.
People don’t understand what it’s like to be a comedian, it’s a bitch… really! These have been 6 of the toughest years of my life because I’ve sacrificed a lot of stability just to get sh*tted on by this business. I’m still not sure where this is going, but I know that I’m definitely not famous yet. I mean, I have a family, kids, etc. and it really f*cks with me on a daily basis. I want to be a, no pun intended, stand-up dad. I really do!
Anyhow, I hope that the 1 person who reads this, understands where I’m coming from and really appreciates what I do on that stage day in and day out. And to those of you who have supported me during this tenure, I want you to know that you are very much appreciated and that I will always give you my complete best when I’m up on that stage!
