Lifetime Dodger Fan

It has been 21 years since the Dodgers went to, let alone won, a World Series and I think the wait just got longer. In fact, I believe there will be an NFL team in Los Angeles before the Dodgers ever see the field of a late October game. The Phillies (World Champions) got Cliff Lee, a guy the Dodgers needed so badly, but aren’t willing to sacrifice the “future” for at any cost. They’ll probably end up trading for or aquiring on waivers, another 35+ year-old former All-Star that the “Sheep”… I mean fans will go nuts for at the stadium

The Dodgers used to be about tradition. A tradition of winning. Now, they’re about saving money and raising ticket prices. They used to be a model franchise. Now they make the Clippers look like a first-class organization. Oh yeah! Ticket prices will definitely go up this offseason… Again! And with no Manny Ramirez in left next season. He’ll be in Cleveland. Looks like the Angels are becoming L.A.’s “A” team and the Dodgers are becoming baseball’s retirement community. Think Mike Candiotti can still throw that Knuckler for strikes?

This just in… Dodgers got George Sherrill from the Orioles for 2 prospects. He must be the answer! They’d better get Halladay!
