Too Much Bitterness in the World
November 18th, 2009
I’m such an honest person that, at times, I come off as being bitter. I will state now, I am not a bitter person. Never have been, never will be. There is too much confusion between honesty & bitternes, and it’s simply because we have pussy-footed through life by trying to paint with artificial colors instead of the ones which really belong in the picture.
What’s even more sad, is the fact that I’ve probably gotten blackballed by this industry for being so honest. But I can’t help it, it’s what makes me. I always try to reflect true and honest stories and/or opinions in my comedy, with no intention to hurt anyone’s feelings. I have no idea who’s there and where they come from most of the time, so how can folks believe I have an agenda?
I will say this, if you follow me on Twitter and/or Facebook & MySpace, I do tend to post some pretty harsh and seemingly personal stuff on there, but it’s always to get a response. I love reading about what people have to say about certain topics or how they react to controversy. I don’t try to change people’s viewpoints because I like when there’s difference. It makes things a whole lot more interesting I believe. That’s why I believe there are taxes and bills because otherwise we’d be working to just drink and f*ck… which is what we still do but not as much because we have to pay people which balances things so that we’re not constantly drunk or “over-f*cked.” Make sense?
Bottom line, I’M NOT BITTER! ![]()
